Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a College Services Assistant to join the College Support Services team in Canterbury. You will provide efficient administration, support enrolments, applications, exams and enquiries on corporate data systems, and help run the Service Help Desk.

You will work with staff, students and external stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service while handling reception duties, timetabling, student records and deadlines with accuracy.

About The Role

Are you an organised individual looking for purposeful work in administration? Support the student experience as a College Services Assistant. As a College Services Assistant you will provide effective and efficient administration as part of the College Support Services team. In the role of College Services Assistant your role responsibilities will also include assisting with the processing of enrolments, applications, exams and enquiries on the corporate data systems and to help with the operation of the Service Help Desk including reviewing the jobs logged, contacting the appropriate support service and the co-ordinating of pool vehicle bookings.

About You

We are seeking to appoint a College Services Assistant to our team. At the heart of the College, the team are based in an open office so you will need to have the ability to focus on tasks alongside answering calls and dealing with queries. Your duties will be varied and will involve working with staff, students and outside stakeholders, excellent customer service is therefore essential.

The team are responsible for all incoming curriculum applications for the following academic year and current short courses. There will also be various processes within the college that you will be involved in including, the daily running of reception, administration, timetabling, student enrolment, student records and exams. Experience of working to tight deadlines with accuracy is essential.
