Job summary

Agecroft Rowing Club in Salford Quays seeks a Junior Talent Inclusion Coach to grow junior membership and align training with the British Rowing Talent Pathway. The role focuses on inclusive, high-quality training for 14–19-year-olds, bridging grassroots with performance pathways.

You will deliver weekly coaching across on-water, land and S&C, engage schools and communities, and work with staff to sustain a long-term programme beyond funding.

Qualifications

• Recognised coaching qualification and commitment to achieving level 2 (or equivalent).
• Proven experience coaching junior athletes in club/pathway environments.
• Strong understanding of inclusive coaching practices and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured weekly coaching on-water, land, and S&C.
• Develop school and community engagement sessions to grow participation.
• Collaborate with club staff and British Rowing teams to align delivery with national strategy.
• Mentor volunteer coaches to increase club coaching capacity and ensure sustainability.
