Job summary

Edinburgh University Boat Club is seeking a qualified rowing coach to lead the Talent Transition and Beginner Programme, working with the existing coaching team. You will identify talent across sports backgrounds and create a pathway into performance rowing, with ties to national programmes.

You will operate within a high-performance culture, supporting athletes academically and athletically while coordinating with strength, physiotherapy and sport psychology colleagues.

Qualifications

• Qualified rowing coach to lead Talent Transition and Beginner Programme.

Responsibilities

• Identify talent through recruitment campaigns and transfer initiatives.
• Plan and deliver evidence-informed coaching on land and water.
• Develop progression standards and regular athlete reviews.
• Maintain accurate records and support facilities and equipment usage.
