Person Specification
  • Recognised rowing coaching qualification (minimum: British Rowing Level 2 or equivalent) or demonstrable experience with commitment to achieve this.
  • Proven experience coaching junior athletes in a club or pathway environment.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive coaching practice and a commitment to equality, diversity and safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage young people, parents, schools and community partners.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake).
