Job summary

St Simon and St Jude Church of England Primary School is expanding The Harbour provision and seeks an HLTA to support pupils with SEND. You will help deliver personalised activities, monitor progress and promote communication, social and independence skills in a nurturing environment.

The role involves working with the inclusion team, parents and external professionals to ensure every child can flourish and access the curriculum.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience is essential.
• Experience supporting children with SEND and inclusive practice.
• Experience working with pupils with communication and interaction needs (autism is desirable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning activities to individuals, groups and classes.
• Support pupil progress, independence and social development.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, families and external professionals.
• Contribute to planning, delivery and evaluation of learning experiences.
