Oxfordshire Employment, through its Connect to Work service, seeks an Employment Advisor to support participants into paid work. The role involves outbound engagement with employers, developing job opportunities, and providing direct employment support. Frequent travel around Oxfordshire is expected, with flexible admin from home or an office.

The post is a 24-month fixed-term contract with a focus on building partnerships and helping participants progress into real jobs.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in employment support, recruitment, employer engagement or a related field.
• Experience as an Employment Advisor or supporting people with disabilities, long-term health conditions or other barriers to work.

Aufgaben

• Identify, develop and promote paid employment opportunities for Connect to Work participants.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local employers, partner organisations and training providers.
• Promote inclusive recruitment and the benefits of a diverse workforce to businesses.
• Help identify vacancies and facilitate introductions between employers and participants.
• Support the development of employment pathways that lead to real job outcomes.
• Provide direct employment support to participants when required, such as preparing for work and matching to vacancies.
• Give advice and guidance on employment and help with transitions into paid work.
• Travel across Oxfordshire to meet employers, attend networking events and partnership meetings.
• Maintain accurate records in line with organisational and contractual requirementsContribute to performance targets and support delivery of employment outcomes across Connect to Work
