Job summary

Palladium in the UK delivers the Connect to Work program and is recruiting an Employment Specialist to support individuals with disabilities and health conditions in Oxfordshire. You will manage a caseload up to 25, delivering person-centred work plans and engaging with employers to create sustainable opportunities.

The role requires one-to-one coaching, strong partnerships, safeguarding, and data protection knowledge.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with people and solution-focused approach.
• Experience with barriers to employment including health conditions and disabilities.
• Experience coaching individuals one-to-one with constructive challenge.
• Proven ability to develop networks and partnerships.
• Flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Strong organisational skills and caseload management.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Champion customers as valuable candidates to employers and promote available support.
• Create and follow individualised action plans with each customer.
• Regularly check in with customers to track progress before and after employment.
• Advocate for clients with employers to promote inclusive recruitment.
• Develop employment opportunities through proactive employer engagement.
• Facilitate work experiences such as placements, trials, and shadowing.
• Provide ongoing in-work support to help customers sustain employment.
• Address personal constraints to employment and build confidence in recruitment.
• Identify/structure vacancy and training solutions to meet needs.
• Maintain customer records to quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Build knowledge of local signposting services (disabilities, housing, benefits).
