Job summary

Palladium is recruiting an Employment Specialist to support the Connect to Work programme across Oxfordshire. You will manage a caseload of up to 25 service users, delivering person-centred work plans and liaising with employers to create sustainable employment opportunities.

You will work with individuals facing barriers to employment, including disabilities and health conditions, to help them secure and maintain roles. Travel expenses are reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with people and a solution-focused approach
• Experience supporting people facing barriers to employment, including health conditions and disabilities
• Experience delivering one-to-one coaching and support to individuals
• Proven ability to build networks and partnerships to support customers’ goals
• Flexible working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
• Strong organisational and caseload-management skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality requirements

Responsibilities

• Champion customers as valuable candidates to employers and raise awareness of the programme
• Create and follow individualised action plans with appropriate activities for each customer
• Regularly check in with customers to monitor progress before and after employment
• Advocate for inclusive recruitment by working with employers
• Develop employment opportunities through proactive employer engagement
• Coordinate work experiences (placements, trials, shadowing) with suitable employers
• Provide ongoing In-Work Support to help customers sustain and thrive in roles
