Job summary

You will assess progress, provide feedback, and work with colleagues and external partners to support learner achievement while promoting equality and professional standards. You will also maintain accurate learner records and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience of teaching or supporting learning in further education or a similar setting.
• Degree-level qualification, or equivalent, in a relevant subject area.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or DTTLS), or willing to work towards one.
• GCSE English and maths at Grade C/Level 4 or above (or equivalent), or willing to achieve them.
• Willing to complete Safeguarding and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons using a range of methods and technologies.
• Assess progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate learner records.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to support learner achievement.
• Help learners explore future education and career opportunities while promoting equality and professional standards.
• Work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to continuous improvement.
