Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience of teaching or supporting learning in further education or a similar setting.
• Degree-level qualification, or equivalent, in a relevant subject area.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or DTTLS), or willing to work towards one.
• GCSE English and maths at Grade C/Level 4 or above (or equivalent), or willing to achieve them.
• Willing to complete Safeguarding and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that help learners develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to achieve their goals.
• Assess progress fairly, provide constructive feedback, and work closely with colleagues and external partners to support learner achievement.
• Help learners explore future education and career opportunities while promoting equality, personal development and professional standards.
• As part of a collaborative team, contribute to continuous improvement and maintain accurate learner records.
