Job summary

Reed Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a school that serves 40 students with SEMH and Autism. The role starts in September 2026, with 12 weeks via Reed Education before potential permanent placement at the school.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with planning lessons, delivery of lessons and evaluating lessons.
• Have a thorough understanding of the students, by reading Educational Health Care Plans and other documentation to better meet their needs.
• Keep up to date with changes in learning and teaching related to your subject area, including DfE guidance and curriculum changes and ensure staff are kept informed.
• Keep up to date with legislation or guidance pertaining to safeguarding.
