Job summary

Greenacre School is seeking an inclusive Co-Teacher (Unqualified) to join our dynamic team within a large special school serving 3–19 year olds. You will support curriculum delivery, plan and prepare lessons, and help develop quality teaching strategies under experienced staff to promote inclusion and high standards.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a starting salary of £28,914 and a benefits package as part of the Wellspring Trust.

Qualifications

• GCSE English/ Maths at grade A-C or equivalent.
• Degree or working towards.
• Commitment to achieve Qualified Teacher Status.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a designated programme of teaching related to the curriculum map.
• Teach pupils according to their needs, including the setting and marking of work.
• Assist in the teacher development of an appropriate curriculum, resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies in curriculum areas and departments.
• Plan and prepare courses and lessons with oversight from teaching staff.
• Take part in a range of development programmes and opportunities.
• Support the implementation of quality assurance activities.
• Contribute to the process of monitoring and evaluation with teaching staff.
