Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an Inclusion Worker in Batley to support pupils with SEN. The role runs 8:30–15:30, Monday to Friday, on a contract basis. You will assist in morning provision, support pupils in the afternoons, and help maintain positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and hold a DBS (update service) or be willing to apply. A full-time schedule and temporary contract are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting teaching and learning or supporting pupils.
• Good knowledge of SEN needs, particularly at primary age.
• Confident to deliver activities 1 to 1 and in small groups.
• DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supporting in the provision base in the mornings.
• Supporting individual pupils in the afternoons in the main classrooms, engaging them in learning.
• Supporting behaviour and emotional support through activities and building relationships.
• Some break/lunch time supervision.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience supporting teaching and learning or supporting pupils
• Have good knowledge of SEN Needs particularly at primary age
