Stimpson Avenue Primary School in Northampton is seeking an Inclusion Support Practitioner to support learning and wellbeing for pupils aged 4 to 11. You will work with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions and monitor progress under the SENDCo’s guidance.

The role is permanent and full-time, with an expected start date in November 2026 and an application deadline of Friday, 6th November 2026. EMAT provides development opportunities and benefits.

Mansioni

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of individual students, small groups or whole classes.
• Deliver targeted interventions (Phonics, Literacy, SEMH, Metacognition) informed by educational research.
• Conduct assessments to identify learning needs and guide support strategies.
• Track and evaluate student progress using platforms like Edukey, IEPs and Pupil Passports.
• Supervise students during lunch, break and wraparound care, promoting safety and positive behaviour.
• Foster strong relationships with students, families and staff to support inclusive learning.
• Plan and deliver lessons under teacher direction, including cover when needed.
• Collaborate with SENDCo and contribute to intervention planning and review meetings.
• Promote emotional wellbeing, inclusion and the academy's values and behaviour policies.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through research-informed practice.
