Job summary

Christ Church Academy is seeking an Inclusion Support Officer to join its dedicated pastoral team in Stone, United Kingdom. The role focuses on pupils whose behaviour or wellbeing may affect learning, using restorative approaches to support reintegration and attendance.

The successful candidate will work with the SEND and Attendance teams, support the Reset Room, and liaise with parents and external agencies to promote consistent attendance and wellbeing throughout the school day.

• Has experience of working with children or young people in a pastoral, behaviour or educational setting.
• Builds positive, professional relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Is calm, resilient and consistent when supporting pupils through challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils whose behaviour or wellbeing may present barriers to learning, in collaboration with pastoral, safeguarding and SEND teams.
• Help pupils reflect on choices, develop strategies for success and reintegrate into lessons.
• Manage and maintain the Reset Room to provide a calm, structured learning environment.
• L liaise with parents and external agencies, monitor attendance and support welfare checks when appropriate.
