Job summary

Christ Church Academy in Stone is seeking an Inclusion Support Officer to join our pastoral team. The role focuses on supporting pupils whose behaviour or wellbeing may impede learning, working with safeguarding and SEND teams to promote reintegration and positive change.

A significant part involves supporting the Reset Room and using restorative approaches to help pupils regulate and return to learning. The position requires calm, resilient teamwork and a commitment to inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in pastoral, behaviour or educational settings.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Calm, resilient and consistent when supporting pupils through challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with behaviour and wellbeing to enable learning continuity.
• Assist in promoting good attendance and liaising with parents and external agencies.
• Contribute to strategies for behaviour improvement and pupil welfare, including the Reset Room.
