Job summary

Christ Church Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Inclusion Support Officer to join our dedicated pastoral team. The role focuses on supporting pupils who may face barriers to learning, developing restorative strategies and reintegrating them into lessons.

Working with our safeguarding, SEND and Attendance teams, you will help pupils reflect, repair relationships and access the education they deserve in a calm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children or young people in a pastoral, behaviour or educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils whose behaviour or wellbeing may present barriers to learning.
• Liaise with pastoral, safeguarding and SEND teams to help pupils reflect and return to learning.
• Promote attendance and pupil wellbeing in collaboration with the Attendance Team.
• Monitor attendance, meet with parents, carry out welfare checks where appropriate.
