Job summary

Silverhill Primary School in the East Midlands is seeking a dedicated specialist teaching assistant to join our Inclusion Team on a maternity cover contract of up to 12 months, to support pupils with additional needs.

You will work closely with pupils, families and school staff to adapt learning activities, promote independence and help pupils access the curriculum with high expectations for learning and strong behaviour management.

Job description

We are looking for a member of staff to cover up to 12 months for Maternity Leave cover, who is a highly motivated, specialist teaching assistant with experience of working with children who have additional needs to join our friendly Inclusion Team to support pupils with specific needs. You will need to work closely in partnership with the school and families to ensure the best possible learning experiences for our pupils.
