Job summary

Silverhill Primary School in the East Midlands is seeking a dedicated specialist teaching assistant to join our Inclusion Team on a maternity cover contract of up to 12 months, to support pupils with additional needs.

You will work closely with pupils, families and school staff to adapt learning activities, promote independence and help pupils access the curriculum with high expectations for learning and strong behaviour management.

• Experience with pupils with a wide range of needs including learning difficulties and personal care needs.
• Ability to promote independence in a learning environment.
