Job summary

Justteachers seeks an Inclusion Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary or specialist school in the Lancaster area on a long‑term basis. The full‑time post is due to start in May 2026, with shortlisting currently taking place.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with additional needs in classroom, 1:1 and small groups.
  • Assist teachers in adapting learning activities for inclusion and accessibility.
  • Promote positive behaviour, engagement and emotional wellbeing across the school.

Pre-requisites:
  • Relevant qualifications or experience supporting children with additional needs
  • Proven experience working in an inclusive educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of SEND strategies, differentiation and inclusive practice
  • Two education or school‑based references
