Job summary

Briarwood School in Bristol is seeking Inclusion Teaching Assistants to support pupils with complex needs within a dynamic, expanding provision. The role focuses on pastoral support and collaboration with Reach & Connect staff to reintegrate pupils into suitable educational settings.

The post is full-time, 32.5 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks, 13 weeks holidays), with a salary around £19,984–£20,745 depending on service. Enhanced DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS clearance required.
• Term time only, 39 weeks per year.
• Salary dependent on Local Government continuous service.

Responsibilities

• Support Inclusion and Support Workers in delivering an outstanding provision for pupils with complex needs.
• Provide high-quality pastoral support to the young people in the Reach & Connect service.
• Follow Briarwood School objectives, conduct, and policies and assist in implementing effective practice.
