Job summary

Membury Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to support a pupil with complex needs within the village setting. The role focuses on building positive relationships, promoting social, language and emotional development, and liaising with professionals to ensure inclusive education.

The successful candidate will be expected to remain calm in challenging situations, maintain confidentiality, and comply with safeguarding and Right to Work requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a school or educational setting.
• Experience of working with children/young people with SEND.
• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, including English and Maths and Grade 4 or above.

Responsibilities

• Establish constructive relationships with the pupil and encourage interaction with others.
• Promote inclusion through the development of social skills, language and emotional well-being.
• Liaise with other professionals both within and outside the school.
• Show initiative and respond to situations with integrity and compassion.
