Job summary

Kingsway Community Primary School in Leamington Spa is seeking an inspirational Inclusion Assistant to support learning, wellbeing and inclusion for pupils aged 4–11. The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks), 8.30 am – 3:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

You will support pupils 1-to-1 and in groups, monitor progress, run interventions, and liaise with colleagues and external agencies to ensure pupils reach their potential.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Qualification or equivalent is essential.
• Working towards a primary school setting experience is preferred.
• We may require safeguarding disclosures and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning and strive for excellent educational outcomes, including those with SEND.
• Liaise with outside agencies for advice and support.
• Work with pupils on a 1 to 1 and group basis depending on need.
• Monitor progress of pupils and assess progress within lessons.
• Run intervention groups and track pupil progress.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues about pupil progress and needs.
• Adapt resources and the environment to meet the needs of the children.
