Cornwallis Academy is a ‘Good’ school on the outskirts of Loose, Maidstone with over 1300 students on roll aged 11 to 18. Cornwallis’ aim is to provide all students with the best educational provision.

We are looking to welcomeanewandinspirational Inclusion Support Officer to join our expandingGateway team on a permanent basis.
You will be supporting staff and parents/carers toensure the highest standards of engagement, attendance and behaviour at theGateway.The successful candidate will need to have recent experience ofworking with students at secondary school age, with experience supportingstudents with SEND of particular interest. You will work as part of a strong,dynamic and dedicated team and will be able to establish a rapport and fosterpositive relationships with students and their families.
This will be a hugely rewarding post within anextremely supportive working environment. Previous experience of supportingvulnerable young people within an inclusive learning environment would be anadvantage. Key knowledge and understanding of safeguarding would be essential.

The position is 37 hours per week (Mon-Thur 08:00 -16:00pm, Fri 08:00 - 15:30pm), 37 weeks per year, plus inset days (38 weekstotal)
