Job summary

Wellacre Academy is seeking an Inclusion Assistant (Permanent) to join the Inclusion Team. The role focuses on providing pastoral and academic support for students with SEND and other barriers to learning and wellbeing.

It may involve taught interventions and in-class support, with occasional cover for classes when needed. The post is Band 4 - SCP 12-17 (£28,598 - £31,022) pro-rata (£23,967 - £25,998), paid for 37.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum including INSET Days.

• Provide pastoral and academic support for students with SEND and other barriers to their learning and wellbeing.
• Deliver taught interventions and pastoral provisions with identified students or small groups, and provide in-class support in lessons.
• Occasionally provide cover for classes in the absence of a teacher.
