Job summary

Salford City College Group is seeking an Inclusion Support Assistant to support learners with SEND across college sites, helping them access the curriculum and reach their potential.

You will join the Learning Support Department and work with tutors to remove barriers and provide flexible, learner-centred support across Eccles College, City Skills, and Pendleton Sixth Form. The role emphasizes proactive, person-centred support to help every learner thrive.

Salary: £24,770 - £27,231 (pro rata actual salary £21,954 - £24,136) Incremental progression throughout the band is available

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st July 2027 Term Time Only | Hours per Week: 36 | Location: Eccles College, City Skills, and Pendleton Sixth Form, you will be required to work cross college sites in response to student needs. Permanent, part time and full-time roles across SCC Group are available

About the Role

You will support learners with diverse needs in and out of the classroom with their academic progress, personal development, well-being, inclusion, and safeguarding.

You will join a team of dedicated Inclusion Support Assistants in our Learning Support Department. As a Inclusion Support Assistant, you will support students studying a diverse range of subjects and will be required to work across the college’s different Centres within the SCC group. You will work alongside classroom tutors to break down barriers and ensure that learners are able to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. We’re looking for a passionate and innovative individual who understands the challenges that young people with SEND may face in their learning. The ideal candidate will take a proactive, person-centred approach to ensure every learner receives the support they need to succeed.
