Job summary

Telford & Wrekin Council is seeking an experienced Inclusion Specialist to strengthen inclusive practice across early years, schools and post-16 as part of the Local SEND Reform Programme. The role requires credible collaboration with leaders, SENCOs, practitioners and partners to translate strategy into practical, whole-setting improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading SEND reform programmes in education settings.
• Ability to work across organisations with leaders, SENCOs and partners.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and co-production.

Responsibilities

• Support leaders to translate Local Inclusion Support Offer into whole-setting practice.
• Evaluate settings self-evaluation, inclusion reviews and improvement planning.
• Develop workforce training and capacity across early years to post-16.
• Ensure mainstream settings identify needs earlier and more inclusively.
