Silsden Primary School is seeking an Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and SENDCO to join our large, modern primary school. You will lead inclusion initiatives, oversee SEND provisions and collaborate closely with families, external agencies and staff to raise outcomes across the school.

The post requires strong leadership, a passion for inclusion and an NPQ SENCO or willingness to train, with a track record of improving pupil outcomes and inclusive teaching practices.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years successful Primary teaching experience.
• NPQ SENCO award (or equivalent) or willingness to train.
• Excellent classroom practitioner with strong strategic leadership.
• Strong communication and partnership skills with parents and external agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Strategic leadership of Inclusion across the school.
• Leading provision for pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils and vulnerable groups.
• Monitoring progress, provision and outcomes for vulnerable pupils and those with additional needs.
• Working collaboratively with families, external agencies and professionals.
• Leading staff development to strengthen inclusive teaching, adaptive practice and impactful interventions.
• Contributing to other whole-school improvement priorities as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
