Job summary

St Martin's School Brentwood is seeking a Higher Learning Teaching Assistant of Inclusion/SEND to support pupils with SEND. This full-time, term-time role involves coordinating intervention programmes, collaborating with teachers, and contributing to the ongoing development of SEND provision.

You will liaise with parents and professionals, maintain accurate SEND records, and help create an inclusive learning environment that raises aspirations for all learners.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils with SEND.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Support identification, assessment and monitoring of pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Deliver, coordinate and evaluate targeted intervention programmes.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement strategies meeting pupil needs across the curriculum.
• Contribute to development and review of One Plans and SEND provision.
• Liaise with parents, staff and external professionals to promote positive outcomes.
• Supervise and manage the SEND Hub and maintain confidential records.
• Attend SEND team meetings to develop and enhance SEND provision across the school.
