Job summary

St Martin's School, part of Discovery Educational Trust, is seeking a dedicated SEND support colleague to identify, assess and monitor pupils with SEND. You will deliver targeted interventions, work with teachers to implement provision across the curriculum and contribute to planning EHCP-related support.

You will liaise with families and external professionals, maintain confidential records, and participate in safeguarding and CPD activities to promote high educational outcomes for all learners.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with pupils with SEND or additional learning needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Support identification, assessment and monitoring of pupils with SEND.
• Deliver, coordinate and evaluate targeted intervention programmes.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement strategies and provision meeting pupil needs.
• Contribute to development and review of One Plans, SEND Support Plans and EHCP provision.
• Liaise with parents, staff and external professionals to promote positive outcomes.
