Teaching Vacancies in Greater London is seeking an Inclusion and SEND Lead for maternity cover. You will lead SEND provision, work with the Senior Leadership Team to promote the school's ethos, and manage SEND staff with CPD planning. The role includes some class teaching, and coordinating strategies to raise attainment for pupils with SEND, EAL and Pupil Premium.

Qualifications

• Must hold the National SENCO award
• Experience leading SEND strategies in a school environment
• Experience coordinating CPD for SEND staff and line-managing SEND teams

Responsabilités

• Lead SEND provision across the school to ensure progress for pupils with additional needs
• Work with the Senior Leadership Team to promote the school's aims and ethos
• Manage SEND support staff, coordinate CPD opportunities, and delegate tasks
• Carry out pastoral and SEMH wellbeing activities with pupils as appropriate
• Undertake teaching duties as required (approx. 1 day per week) in line with the Teachers Pay and Conditions
• Evaluate teaching and learning for SEND, EAL and Pupil Premium pupils to ensure meeting needs
• Team teach or lead intervention groups to accelerate progress for pupils
• Liaise with pre-school settings and other schools to ensure continuity of support for SEND pupils
