Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a dedicated Inclusion Room Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Wellingborough. This role focuses on helping students overcome barriers to learning and stay engaged throughout the day.

You will supervise in the inclusion room, support classwork, promote positive behaviour, and work with pastoral teams to monitor progress. Term Time Only, full-time hours, competitive daily rate.

• Experience working with young people in a school, youth work, mentoring, care, or support setting.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising students within the inclusion room and ensuring they remain focused on their work.
• Supporting students to complete classwork provided by teaching staff.
• Promoting positive behaviour and reinforcing school expectations.
• Building strong, professional relationships with students.
• Working closely with pastoral leaders, behaviour teams, and teaching staff.
• Monitoring and recording student engagement, behaviour, and progress.

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Inclusion Room Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve success both academically and personally.

The successful candidate will work within the school's inclusion provision, supporting students who require additional behavioural, emotional, or pastoral support throughout the school day. You will help maintain a calm and productive learning environment while encouraging students to make positive choices and remain engaged with their education.

The Role:
