Job summary

Enfield Council seeks a Best Start Inclusion Practitioner to join our Early Help and Children’s Services team. You will work with children and families through Family Hubs and early years settings to promote inclusive practice, helping identify needs early and remove barriers to learning and development.

The role includes delivering parenting intervention programmes, providing advice, signposting and practical support, and building strong partnerships with families, settings and multi‑agency

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children with additional or special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Knowledge of early years frameworks, legislation, and best practice (desirable).
• Strong partnership working skills with families, early years providers, and multi-agency professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group and individual parenting intervention programmes.
• Provide advice, guidance, signposting and practical support to families with children in the early years.
• Identify needs early and remove barriers to learning and development.
• Support improved outcomes for children and families through inclusive practice.
