Job summary

Newcastle City Council is seeking a Best Start Inclusion Practitioner within the Children & Families Directorate. You will support families with children aged 0-5 with SEND to access local SEND services and navigate the system, delivering short interventions and practical support.

You will build links with nurseries and schools to aid children\'s development and champion inclusive practice across the Best Start Family Hubs network.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Highly organised and self-motivated with good prioritisation.
• Full Level 3 qualification in a relevant children's services field.
