Job summary

Inspire Education Trust is recruiting two Inclusion Mentors for Stockingford Academy. These roles support teachers and the SENDCo, helping pupils with diverse needs to access learning and thrive in a safe environment.

Permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week (term time plus 5). Salary £23,026–£26,173 per year. Applicants should have Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent, strong literacy and numeracy, and SEND/SEMH experience.

Qualifications

• Has level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications and experience.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Has recent experience working with primary pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties in school.
• Has SEND experience.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers/SENDCo with development and education processes by providing care and supervision to pupils.
• Help ensure a safe environment and promote children's welfare.
• Assist with learning activities and support pupils to overcome barriers to learning.
