Job summary

Veritas Education is recruiting for an Inclusion and Learning Needs Support Worker to support learners with SEMH/SEN and complex needs across Kirklees for the Autumn 2026 term. You will work with teachers, learning support staff and health professionals to create a safe, structured learning environment.

Applicants should have an update DBS, experience with SEMH/SEN and ideally a TeamTeach certificate; you must be eligible to work in the UK and prepared for a registration interview.

Qualifications

• DBS on update service is essential.
• Experience working with SEMH/SEN/Complex Needs students with challenging behaviour.
• Team Teach Certificate is ideal and training may be provided by Veritas Education.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment for learners across the school setting.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement learning and behaviour plans.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support across classroom and school settings.
