Job summary

The Whiteoak Academies of Hannah More Infants and Grove Juniors invites applications for a Learning Partner to support Year 3 pupils. The role is 13 hours weekly across four mornings in KS2, starting at 8:45am, and is Fixed Term until 31 August 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with additional needs and/or SEND is advantageous.
• Ability to form positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
• Ability to plan and prepare work, using initiative.
• Commitment to continued professional development.
• Willingness to accompany children on school visits.
• Supportive of the school's ethos, vision and values.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning inside and outside of the classroom.
• Provide specific and helpful feedback to pupils on progress and next steps.
• Collaborate with other support staff and teachers.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support learning and development.
• Support daily routines, pastoral care and pupil engagement.
• Establish trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Create a respectful, orderly environment and follow the behaviour policy.
• Uphold policies on child protection and data protection.
