Job summary

Enfield Council is seeking a committed Inclusion Officer to support coordination of Fair Access and pupil exclusion processes. You will organise Fair Access Panels, liaise with schools, families and partner agencies, and provide clear guidance on suspensions, permanent exclusions and the placement of vulnerable pupils.

• Excellent communication, organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Experience of working in education, local government or a related public service setting would be an advantage.
• Ability to analyse data, prepare reports and contribute to positive outcomes for pupils at risk of exclusion.

Responsibilities

• Organise and minute Fair Access Panels and coordinate meetings.
• Liaise with schools, families and partner agencies to provide guidance on suspensions, permanent exclusions and pupil placement.
• Provide clear advice and guidance to schools and families on statutory processes.
• Ensure statutory processes are followed accurately and consistently.
• Support the placement of vulnerable pupils and contribute to improved educational outcomes.
