Job summary

Active Fusion is seeking an Inclusion and Employability Officer to lead and develop its inclusion, employability and life skills programmes for disadvantaged and vulnerable young people. You will design, deliver and improve engaging programmes, build partnerships with schools, employers and community organisations, and create clear progression routes into education, training and employment.

You will monitor outcomes and budgets, secure funding, and champion safeguarding, equality and youth

Qualifications

• Experience delivering employability, inclusion, youth work, education or community-based programmes.
• Experience working with disadvantaged, vulnerable or disengaged young people.
• Strong understanding of inclusion, youth development and employability pathways.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of inclusion, employability and life skills programmes for disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, employers, training providers, local authorities and community organisations to create progression opportunities.
• Create pathways into education, training, volunteering and employment, including support for NEET or at-risk young people.
• Monitor programme performance, budgets and outcomes, producing reports and evidence of impact.
• Identify and support funding, commissioning and development opportunities for organisational growth.
• Champion inclusion, wellbeing and youth voice, providing mentoring and advocacy to help young people achieve their potential.
