Job summary

Greenshaw Learning Trust in Devon and Torbay is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Lead to drive inclusion and safeguarding across our schools. You will lead on strategies to support vulnerable students, deliver swift early intervention, and work with pastoral teams to ensure every pupil is safe and reaches their full potential.

The role focuses on proactive monitoring, targeted interventions, and collaboration with pastoral leaders to maintain high expectations and positive outcomes for learners.

Responsibilities

• Lead on Inclusion strategies to support vulnerable students and engage them with their learning.
• Deliver an Early Intervention programme to support the complex needs of vulnerable students swiftly.
• Ensure all pupils are safe and proactively monitor and intervene with vulnerable children on a daily basis.
• Lead on interventions/alternative provision, ensuring it is appropriate, purposeful and has a positive impact for students and the College.
• Collaborate with Pastoral Leaders and the Pastoral team to ensure students meet high expectations and reach their full potential.
