Avonbourne Academies are seeking an Inclusion Support Worker to improve attendance and remove barriers for students with SEND. You will engage with families, develop personalised support plans and support learners in lessons to boost engagement.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teaching staff, professionalism, and safeguarding, with a focus on creating a positive learning environment within the academy.

Qualifications

• Be highly motivated and enthusiastic.
• Dedicated to setting high standards and expectations in student attendance.
• Good communication skills as you will be a crucial point of contact between home and the Academies.

Responsabilités

• Lead targeted interventions for identified SEND students and develop personalised support plans.
• Support students within lessons to maximise engagement and work with teaching staff to implement effective classroom strategies for students with SEND and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with staff to monitor attendance and implement effective strategies to improve pupil engagement.
