Job summary

Loughton School in Milton Keynes is seeking an organised Inclusion and SEND Support Coordinator to join our team. You will work closely with the SENCo, deliver targeted interventions and coordinate referrals to ensure pupils receive the right help at the right time.

The role requires experience with SEND, strong liaison with families and external agencies, and a good knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice. This term-time, part-time post offers a supportive environment within The Alliance Schools

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
  • Ability to engage with parents and external agencies.
  • Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and graduated approach.
  • Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent organisation and commitment to inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver targeted interventions for pupils with SEND.
  • Support pupils in class with inclusive practices.
  • Coordinate referrals and reviews to secure appropriate help.
  • Collaborate with families and external agencies.
  • Work with the SENCo to support safeguarding and inclusion.

INCLUSION AND SEND SUPPORT COORDINATOR

Commencing - ASAP

Term Time Only

30.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 8:40am to 3:15pm

Salary - £31,525 to £34,811 FTE

Actual Salary - £21,988.85 to £24,280.85 p.a.

The Role

Loughton School is looking for an organised, compassionate Inclusion and SEND Support Coordinator to join our team. Working closely with our SENCo, you're at the heart of our SEND, inclusion and safeguarding provision. You're deliver targeted interventions, support pupils in class, work closely with families and coordinate the referrals and reviews that get children the right help at the right time.

You'll bring:

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND
  • Confidence working with parents and external agencies
  • Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and the graduated approach
  • A Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Excellent organisation and a real commitment to inclusion
