Job summary

BedfordPerm is seeking a reliable Goods In Operative in Milton Keynes to join a fast-paced warehouse team on a temporary to permanent basis. You will safely unload inbound deliveries, verify SKUs, batch/lot numbers andexpiry dates, and use the warehouse system to book in stock.

You will maintain stock locations, support put-away and inventory accuracy, and communicate with clients, suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Warehouse/goods-in or e-commerce fulfilment experience preferred.
• Experience with WMS or handheld scanners is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Proficient English and Maths; basic MS Office knowledge.
• Able to follow multiple processes in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to health and safety and good fitness.

Responsibilities

Role: Goods In Operative

Location: Milton Keynes

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00AM to 19:00PM

Salary: £13.00 an hour, weekly pay

Immediate Start Available - Temporary to Permanent opportunity

OA are currently working with a well established client based in Milton Keynes, currently looking to recruit for an experienced, Goods In Operative to join the team.

Duties of a Goods In Operative:

• Safely unload, check and process inbound deliveries using warehouse and handheld systems.
• Verify quantities, SKUs, batch/lot numbers, expiry dates and product condition against delivery paperwork.
• Accurately receive and book in stock using WMS/Orderflow, including labelling, pallet IDs and stock locations.
• Investigate and report shortages, damages and delivery discrepancies to the relevant teams.
• Support stock control, put-away, replenishment and inventory accuracy across the warehouse.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised goods-in area while communicating with clients, suppliers, carriers and internal teams.

What we would like from you:

• Previous warehouse, goods-in or e-commerce fulfilment experience is beneficial.
• Experience with WMS, handheld scanners or MHE is advantageous; relevant training can be provided.
• Excellent attention to detail with a thorough and methodical approach.
• Good English and Maths skills, with basic MS Office knowledge.
• Able to follow multiple processes and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Good level of fitness and a strong commitment to health and safety.
