Job summary

Sofina Foods in the UK is seeking a proactive Inbound/Supply Chain Co-ordinator to ensure production has ingredients and packaging in the right amounts and at the right times. You’ll work with suppliers, planning and production teams to resolve stock challenges and support business change activities.

The role offers exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes, collaboration across functions, and opportunities to impact operational performance.

  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, planning or similar function.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure ingredients and packaging are available in line with production needs.
  • Build relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor stock levels against targets and adjust as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Coordinate change management activities and minimize waste.
  • Identify and elevate potential supply risks impacting production.
  • Assist with supplier invoice queries and payments.
  • Contribute to projects, launches and de-list activities.

Keep production moving through effective supply chain coordination
Role Overview

Play a vital role in ensuring our production teams have the ingredients and packaging they need to operate efficiently and deliver for our customers.

Reporting to the Inbound Supply Chain Manager, you'll work closely with suppliers and colleagues across Supply Chain, Planning and Production to manage stock levels, resolve supply challenges and support business change activities. This is a varied role that offers excellent exposure to the end-to-end supply chain while giving you the opportunity to make a real impact on operational performance.

Key Duties
  • Ensure ingredients and packaging are available in line with production requirements and schedules.
  • Build effective relationships with suppliers to ensure orders and deliveries are completed on time.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels in line with agreed targets.
  • Work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Planning and Production teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Coordinate change management activities, ensuring accurate ordering while minimising waste.
  • Identify and elevate potential supply risks that could impact production.
  • Support the timely resolution of invoice and supplier queries.
  • Contribute to projects, product launches and de-list activities to ensure smooth supply chain execution.
