Job summary

Cawingredients Limited, a rapidly growing FMCG company in North Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Inbound Logistics Specialist. You will coordinate all inbound deliveries and work with suppliers and 3PLs to keep production running smoothly.

Reporting to the Goods In management team, you will manage the inbound delivery schedule, monitor receipting through SAP, and analyze KPI data (OTIF, accuracy) to drive improvements in receiving, accuracy, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with Procurement, Suppliers and Third-Party Logistics Providers to ensure deliveries are scheduled, arrive and are accurately processed on time.
• Take ownership of the inbound delivery schedule to ensure a balanced and achievable schedule, that meets the requirements of Production and Logistics teams.
• Monitor and control goods receiving activities, ensuring inbound materials are correctly receipted through SAP and other systems, ensuring compliance with all procedural requirements and for Quality and Health Safety purposes.
• Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, by coordinating effectively with our Procurement and Finance teams, taking corrective action where required.
• Manage and analyse operational KPI data, reporting to the management team to identify trends, root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Escalate operational risks and stock issues to internal and external stakeholders, driving timely resolution.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives to simplify processes, improve receiving accuracy and enhance supply chain controls .
• Support the successful delivery of key departmental priorities and peak production periods, ensuring materials arrive on time to support our fast-paced production .

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Inbound Logistics Specialist. Recruiting the right people is an integral part of our growth plans. If you want to be part of a highly focussed environment, where attention to detail, excellent skills and diligence is required this could be the role for you.

As Inbound Logistics Specialist you will play a pivotal role in scheduling and coordinating all inbound deliveries to Cawingredients. This is a vital cross-functional role within our business and requires a confident and enthusiastic communicator at all levels with Internal Stakeholders, and with numerous external partners including Suppliers and Third-Party Logistics Providers.

You will report directly to the Goods In management team and take the lead in ensuring effective management of the delivery schedule and the associated monitoring/reporting of KPIs, including OTIF and goods receiving accuracy.

Attention to detail is of critical importance in this role, which requires the balancing of multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

In doing so, you will play a pivotal role in delivering industry-leading levels of performance, accuracy, and safety in a fast-growing Company.
