Job summary

Boots is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and provide essential advice to patients while adhering to SOPs and safety standards.

You will work on the shop floor within our healthcare department, building relationships with patients and ensuring safe sale of medicines. The role requires UK right to work and excludes remote candidates.

Qualifications

• Completed Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, endorsing, collection).
• Work with healthcare professionals in-store to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage prescriptions with reliable repeats and adherence.
