Job summary

Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser for Strood on a flexible, part-time basis. You will manage store displays, replenish stock and audit adherence to brand standards.

You’ll plan visits to optimize efficiency while engaging with store staff and managers to maintain great in-store presentation. The role requires a full UK driving licence and use of a vehicle, with 5–20 hours weekly on average, and includes holiday pay and a location allowance where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must have right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• As an Instore Merchandiser, you'll bring products to life on the shop floor and manage point-of-sale placements.
• Own your territory, stock replenishment and auditing, keeping displays on-brand and in order.
• Plan cost-effective visits and travel to stores, building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers.
