Job summary

B&Q Erdington is seeking a Customer Advisor to join our team on a part-time basis. You’ll become an expert advisor, helping customers, guiding their home improvement projects and ensuring displays are set up and stock is well managed.

Day-to-day you’ll use your friendly, proactive approach to deliver great service, work a flexible rota across weekends and bank holidays, and learn new skills such as paint-mixing and timber cutting as needed.

Qualifications

• Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement.
• Friendly and outgoing, you’ll be great at assisting customers and working in a team.
• Willing to work a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sell and advise customers, as well as manage stock and set up displays.
• Ensure the store looks great and help customers with home improvement projects.
• Potential training in paint-mixing and timber cutting as part of role.
