Job summary

Sainsbury's is looking for Customer Assistants to join our stores and help run the shop floor with energy and enthusiasm. You’ll be part of a team delivering friendly, efficient service and supporting colleagues across tasks from shelf replenishment to assisting customers with their needs.

In this role you’ll learn product knowledge, use digital tools to enhance the shopping experience, and adapt to varying shifts while maintaining a clean, well-presented store environment.

Responsibilities

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
