Our hotel

The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline, and since we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests never miss their train.

Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels is a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of the location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

In this role, the successful candidate will be working overnight 4 nights per week, starting at 8:00 pm until 7:00 am.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests during the night shift
• Provide seamless and comfortable stay even during the later hours
• Work alone during your shift and cooperate well with other departments
• Tailor your approach so that high-quality results are achieved
• Deliver discreet, understated, and timely service, going that extra mile
• Be knowledgeable of the hotel, our facilities, and the local area
• Take ownership of performing the job well in line with the departmental standards
